i have a 93 merc gm i recently purchaced it now i am put 6x8'' fosgate componets in the front with alpine 6x9" in the back i got 2 fosgate twelves n the back with a 1500 watt fosgate mono block. the front compoets run on a 360http://www.mercuryforum.com/smileys/smiley8.gif watt amp jensen, n the rears a 600 watt alpine. now the only problem is i can't get the damn power cable through the firewall every thing else is wired!!!!! i have tried everything but drill the the damn firewall myself any one ever do a GM or have any ideas would be greatly appreciated. easiest way i have found to run a power line from the battery through the firewall is to find an existing hole with grommet in firewall. i found a plug in the firewall of my car that has the antenna going thru it. i took a knife and notched it on 2 sides so that it would push thru. i use a straightened coathanger with a small hook formed on one end to old the wires. after grabbing the power line with that use electric tape and use that set up to pull it thru. i do the same thing when i run speakers in my doors and to get in places where i have more trouble to access.
