who can tell me, how works the antenna in a marquis from1996? because the plug hasnīt a normal antenna connector

The basic principal is the same with all of them, fully automatic.


What's a "normal" connector? There are at least 3 different kind of antenna connectors used, but from model year 1995 on, they are identical.


Or are you talking about the plug for the motor?

das bild ist leider zu klein zum anschauen!
ich habe eine scheibenantenne, am radio kommen aber nur kabel an

See, this is why you have to be exact and specific when posting.


First of all, you are using a aftermarket antenna, windshield mounted, so no manual nor car specific experience can help you here.


If you only have cables arriving at your radio, then it's either the ones for the amplifier (windshield mounted ones usually have that since their reception is less strong than a standard one), or someone clipped it off.


Without seeing it, impossible to tell you for sure. Ever thought about replacing it, with either original one or another windshield mounted one?


Hint: You can replace the mast by itself.
