When I joined Mercury Forum, I was in the process of buying a 2003 Grand Marquis. However, with some problems of the bank not finanicing it 100% (needed cash down) and me not having enough "cash down" to satisfy them - was able to swing a better deal on a 2004 Grand Marquis, no money down, and lower interest rate.

Worked out in the long run... Same basic car - the 04 has only 55K on it, where the 03 had near 80k.

got the 04 last week but with so much going on in the past few days just kinda forgot to post that I changed from the 03 to the 04...

Sry guys just too much going on somedays I get a lil rattled upstairs hahaha...

So here's the 04's pic... LOL

Help me out here: This (nice car) is not the one you had when you joined?

To clarify: You just got this one last week?

no this isn't the one i had when i joined. It was an 03 LS. here's the 03's pic.. and yeah i'm half crazy... LOL

couldn't get financing on it (well would have taken more $$'s for a downpayment)... so the dealer had the 04 with no down since the bank said "yes" to it. 04 has 55,000 on it, 03 had 80 on it...

Picked up the 04 a week ago today - last Friday it was. Was planning to get the 03 a couple weeks before that - just the bank was a little slow on telling me they weren't gonna finance it w/o cash down - nice of them to say that after I drove the 03 for 2 1/2 weeks ehhh??

Dealer was nice enough to let me hang with the 03 til the bank made up their mind

Awesome! Is that grey leather I'm spotting?

Ahem, if you need to get rid of your "old" one, I offer 24/7 pickup anywhere in the continental United States.
