does anyone know the best way to connect seat belts to a 1960 monterey? i thought it came stock with seat belts, but under further investigation, i didn''t see any place in the middle of the seat to connect a seat belt for each side. i was wondering if anyone has put seat belts in a car similar to this before and could tell me how they did it, any help is appreciated.

I would guess just drill a hole, weld the nut to the outside and bolt down... or bolt down and then weld the nut to the floor. A three point harness will just require more drilling for the shoulder hooks.

the welding is optional, but does tend to help.

There may be something there to bolt to, you''ll have to lift the carpet and anything else in the way to find out first. you could cheat a little and bolt it down with the rear anchor of the seat (unless it''s a bench with bolts on JUST the outside points).
