I am going crazy, My 1999 Grand Marquis interior light wont go off. I have tried everythoing i can think of. Anybody know whats going on??????

By "tried everything" do you mean you tried to replaced the switch on the dash that turns it on and off? Or did you also test all of the switches in the car's doors by pressing on each one? Did you try replacing the interior light?

SPRAY ALL DOOR LATCHES WITH WD 40 AND OPEN AND CLOSE EACH DOOR TEN TIMES AND SHOOT WD 40 AGAIN ITS PROBABLY A STICKING DOOR LATCH SWITCH HOPE THIS HELPS LET ME KNOW

Wow can anybody tell me where the door switch for the interior lighting is located,I have my inside dome lights dont turn off an have been sprying the lower front door hinges is that the proper location als how do I remove them it has to be eaiser than taking the doors off any help thank you [img]smileys/smiley6.gif[/img]

its located in the door on the latch itself shoot the latches with wd 40 not the hinges

I had a car that had a small tear in the cover for the wiring going to the dome light. When I would hit a bump, the wire would make connection with the roof of the car. The light would stay on until I hit another bump. Sorry, random story.
