I need a 5 speed manual trans for 99 Merc Tracer GS2.0 engine. I am assuming it is just a rebadged Escort. What year Tracer or Escort transmissions will fit this car? Will any Focus transmissions fit? What years?

This car has 180,000 + trouble free miles on it until now. Final drive makes low rumbling noise. Runs and looks like new. Would like to put another 100,000 miles on it.

What Numbers stamped on the transmissions should I be looking for?
