Hello I just got a great deal on a 92 xr2 ($800) but I have some questions
1.any major things I should check for?(timing belt will need to be done)
2. I know the temps on these engines run pretty high. My coolant temp staying around 7/8 of the L/H gauge is this normal? Anything I can do to help the temp?
3.what is the red switch in the trunk?
4.the gas gauge does not work (fallen over completely). Easy fix or just replace?
5. I think I have a vacuum leak somewhere and common culprits?
6. What are some good parts sources (moderncapri seems pretty pricey)
7. Brakes seem pretty weak. Pads seem good maybe is could use a flush and bleed?
8. Both headlights go up fine but one will not go down?
9. Anyone have a good picture of the best Jack points or do you just use the subframe ?
Any additional info would be great there is a suprising lack of info on these things. -thanks
