Default Almost gave up - Bad Speedometer

I was jsut about to give up on this site due to the lack of Capri owners. Looks like I found two more. But I'm going through this car I just bought and suddenly my speedometer quits. I can't find a manual but I have found out the car shares quite a bit with a Mazda 323. The speed sensor on that car is behind the speedometer (according to one book I've got). Any one have any suggestions?

I just a found a new site. techcapri.com They've got a service manual and more. Looks like I might keep the car. So are there only three Capri owners on here?

Make that 4, I just joined the group and bought the 91 two weeks ago. Everyone in the family has been driving it around so much, I haven't been able to address the problems it has. (see my other posts).
Your reply is exactly why a site like this works. Wow, how cool to find a source for a service manual. Thank you so much for sharing. I hope I can contribute more as I work out the issues on my XR2.
