Default Suspension Issue - Sounds like a Rusty Door Hinge

I have a 2000 Mercury Marquis which just developed a problem.

Whenever I turn the wheels to the right, I hear a loud sound that sounds like a rusty squeeky door hinge.

I checked all the bushings at the joints, they are all intact as well as the tie rods with no visible rust. I even sprayed all the pivoting joints that I could see with white lithium grease, and still it makes that annoying creek.

When I push the right fender down, I hear the creek slightly but it is more pronounced when I turn the wheels right.

I do not hear this creek when the car hits a bump.

Any ideas or suggestions?

sounds like ball joint is dry and creaking... dont know if it has any access to use a grease gun or not... the rubber boots are meant to hold grease in the joint ... to check ball joint, lift car with floor jack under shock mount and grab tire at top and bottom... many times with vehicle raised this way it shows better for checking the ball joint as opposed to unloaded and jacked up different way... it will allow you to check the control arm bushings also since it keeps the pressure on them as if car is on ground but tire is up where you can inspect and shake down the front end looking for problems
