Is there a Cold Air Intake for the 2005 Mercury Mariner V6? If so, does K&N offer it? I need to check their site. Also, does anyone offer exhausts for the Mariner?

Thanks!

I checked and they don't have anything except replacement filters (lifetime). I was hoping to add some hp to the 200hp engine. I know it wouldn't be too hard to get it to 250hp.

I found a K&N cone filter (the universal) that fits, and the MAF adapter from CTS Motorsports. The MAF adapter fits all V6s, so I'll be installing it whenever I get the chance. I hope to keep the stock airbox.

250hp? keep in mind that on an engine that makes only 200hp, getting to 250 is a HUGE jump...that wont happen unless you do SUBSTANTIAL engine work, or forced induction, or nitrous.

you also have to consider transmission capabilities. I hopped up my 98 contour for the track and burned out 3 trannys. I was forced to detune after the 3rd time.

Also,be careful on MAF adapters.Just becase they say they fit all v6's half the time you need to modify the adapter. I had to mod the adapter on my sable.Edited by: Lenny
