Default share-97 Marquis Throttle Position Sensor Problem

Just wanted to share. Have a 1997 Grand Marquis. Car has 248,000 miles original motor and transmission. There was no response from accelerator pedal and the car would barely stay on. Only codes I got was P0420 & P0430. Replaced throttle Position sensor TPS. Cost $28 at Autozone. They had a cheaper one for $24. Problem went away. Also cleaned air flow sensor.

Now that's an inspiration! Great to know that original drive train for the GM's can look at pushing the envelope. I guess 117 thou is just breaking 'er in.
