I have a 2005 GM and I love this car, I got it from a freind who put highway mile son it as his company car and I got it for a song of a deal, 1500$ it has 120K miles on it and a few nicks and scratches.

Here is a problem I can't seem to resolve and since it is electrical I know better than to get too far into it, w/o careful investigation

The problem is this

I can't get power to the power port this port and the Cig lighter port as far as I can tell are all powered by a 20AMP fuse in slot 27

The Cig lighter in the ash tray works but the power port does not, I took the port out and checked it with a meter and it has continuity so that DC current show flow and power up the port but nothing I do seems to bring power to it. So that tells me that somehow power is not coming to it is it a fact that the only fuse on this comes from the 20AMP fuse at position 27

ALSO

The passenger window can't be rolled down via the power on the drivers side however the passenger side works fine
Since this is not a gr8 big problem I have not taken the driver side switch off yet to see it problem is there (which surely it is)
