i have a different thread on this but on THIS thread i want to know...

when you have the 5 consecutive beeping from inside your dash, where is the speaker that makes the beeping noise? it drives me up a wall sometimes and i can't figure out what is causing the problem so i want to just cut the wires to stop beeping. i'm aware of the safety precautions and ive made the decision to cut the wires

ive taken the instrument cluster out before to replace the clock so i know how to do that

also is it safe to remove the airbag by unscrewing it? at first i wouldn't have thought twice about it but after talking to some people they all said they "weren't sure" if its safe or not.. would appreciate some input..

 

with the glove box off, it almost sounds like the beeping is coming from the cars computer or something.
