Need some assistance in locating the factory code for a 2007 mercury mountaineer that was recently purchased!!! remote works fine, but can't use the keyless entry pad on the door and would really love to!!!

 

Open your rear passenger door and fold back seat forward. You will see where your seat-belt connects to the frame. Gently pull the housing around seat-belt near frame off. After doing this gently pull the bottom piece of plastic back revealing a module. On this module will be 5 numbers in large print. that should be your factory keypad code for your drivers door keypad. If entered correctly you will hear the driver door unlock. By pressing 3/4 key it will open all doors and by pressing 5/6 button should unlock the lift gate Glass section. ** Note to unlock all doors and or rear lift gate glass the proper buttons should be pressed within 5 seconds of entering main code.** Hope this helps
