It has 67,000 miles on it so far. The engine is in excellent condition but I am simply not sure what the private dealer did to the distributor and the wires surrounding it. It looks like these wires have been cut and then re-wired. I have taken it in to two mechanics and they have not been able to diagnose the underlying issues. A hard start-up that takes several cranks, but this only occurs when the engine has cooled down. When the engine is warm, it starts fine.

A rough idling where the rpm goes up and down and almost stalls at times. This occurs when the engine is warm.

spark plugs and plug wires replaced
fuel filter replaced
idle air intake adjusted higher
water pump replaced
transmission fluid flushed and changed
