I bought a 1984 mercury capri, it is light canyon red. I am wondering what the kind of red the interior is. Back in the truck needs to be redone and I want it to match.

 

You need to do some research to find out what they actually called that color interior. But even if, I don't think you will find that color paint , exact color anyway. What is it, busted up or just really sun faded?

 

I think he means the carpet color of the interior so he can re-line the trunk.

You might just need to go to a carpet place and have them match the color. Most will at least try because they want your business and your friends as well.

 

No, I actually meant the plastic in the back. I actually found the color in a brochure I had. It is light canyon red, which now I have to find somewhere to buy it.

 

ah. good luck. I'd be surprised if you did find the panels. you may have to get them painted.

 

I am not even going to bother looking for the panels, I am going to paint them, I am just looking for the color code for light canyon red.
