I have a small Vitek engine--gets great gas mileage. The engine dies sometimes at a stop sign though, especially if the car is in neutral.
I have noticed that the anti-theft red indicator comes on just before the engine dies. Does anyone know if the indicator light means the anti-theft system is killing the ignition?? Other times, as I am moving and I shift, say, from 2nd to 3rd, I see the anti-theft indicator light up as the gear shift passes through neutral. A dealership has checked the car on the computer yesterday. They saw some brief drops in voltage. Who knows what kind of repairs I am in for!! </span> |
