1990 Cougar vibration coming from somewhere?

I started having a vibration coming from somewhere. I tried checking the bellhousing bolts and u-joints, but both were good. The vibration starts at first acceleration and goes up to about 60 miles an hour. The vibration I just started noticing a couple days ago. I wonder if driving in slushy snow has anything to do with it. When I did this a couple weeks ago, the throttle started to not respond. Like it wouldn't depress. I looked at the cables and they looked ok to me, but I couldn't depress the accelerator. But, like I said that was a couple weeks ago, and I doubt that would be the cause of the issue. I can't tell if the vibration is getting any worse, but I have noticed the vibration is starting earlier when I drive the car. Any suggestions. I hope you can help. Keep up the good work.

Yes, this was my next thing I was going to check. I did check the tranny mount bolts, but all were tight. Thats when I seen that there was a lot of oil on the tranny mount. I'm pretty sure the oil has deteriorated the rubber on the mount. I hope this is the fix. Thanks for the response suggestion is well appreciated.

about ur post

have you checked too see if the weights have fallen off of the drive shaft, if one has fallen off that will cause a viberation ...

problem found

It was a rusted rear u-joint on the drive shaft. I grabbed this u-joint and rotated it back and forth on the drive shaft, and it felt as if it was good. When I took the drive shaft down, I could tell immediately the u-joint was froze. One of the bearings was so dried out from water entering the cap.
