I own a 99 cougar with manual transmission and134,000 miles on it I have changed the fuel filter,cat converter,no problems when starting up or driving but when you stop and then start to take off the car will skip or hesitate then once you get going it will stop. No codes show up and check engine lite is not on. thanks for the help

hello,on your hesitaion issue have you had the plugs done yet if you are running the v6 motor alot of paople don't tune them up like they should do to the fact the rear plugs are a pain in the but to do ,if you have done that check the intake for leaks the gasket surfaces they are prone to leak at the upper o-rings' hopefully this helps you a little bit feel free to email me and ill try to walk you through the issue
