1990 courgar brake lights don't work but the third brake light does, turn signal and running lights work too but no brake lights. checked brake light switchits good anyone got an idea help

check all fuses if its not the brakeswitch... just had same problem... no brakelights... changed the switch and the fuse under the hood that relays power to the interior fuse box...

if it were a GM, that is the first clue that rear defroster is unplugged at one end. do you have any exp. with a multimeter?

that is after all fuses, relays, switches, bulbs, etc. are checked.
