stuck out or stuck in?

if it''s stuck out, there may be a button that the door pushes when it''s shut that might have gotten jammed in. It''s usually located on the door jam near the bottom of the door. pry it loose and the seat belt should coil back up. This was a comfort feature on some of the older cars to allow a little bit of slack in the belt so it wouldn''t rub your neck so much. I have half a mind to cut these switches off my my grand marquis... it just feels wrong not having a snug seat belt.

if it''s stuck in, you''ll need someone else who knows more about it to help.
