Hey i''ve always wanted one and now i''ve run into a pretty good deal but i dont have a lot of info on the car, it looks in good shape with about 156,000 clicks on it but i was just wondering if there are, and what are the main issues the arise with this car? Thanks ahead of time

Not that I know about. I would have someone look over the car if you are not able to. every car will have a 1 main issue at sometime or another.

Everyone has opinions on cars. Get something you are happy with.

I just bought one, and the according to my research I did before buying, the alternators and fuel pumps love to die on you, the front cup holder is a joke, and there''s a part in the sun roof that breaks super easy (later models replaced the plastic with aluminum). I''m not sure how much of that is true, just what I read (except the cup holder part).

I had a mechanic buddy of mine check it out before I bought it. I''d recommended everyone buying any car do the same. He hopped behind the wheel during my test drive, beat the crap out of it for a few minutes, and found things I''d never have even thought of.

well let''s see mine''s a 99 and i''ve had it almost 2 years now and i''ve put a little over $2000 into engine repairs. and one of the main things i''ve replaced would be my alternator(2 times in less than 4 months). and also the front cup holder sucks. mine broke when i was tryin to put it down.

my 00 has been nothing but trouble since i bought it. It had 73,000 miles on it, 3 months after i got it the transmission locked up ($2500), the sunroof (plastic piece) broke and still not fixed because you have to buy the entire assembly to fix a very small part ($960), and just recently a very loud vibration is coming from the front end... tires balanced brand new, i have replaced the alternator 3 times and finally found out about the recall for the battery cable that shorts out against the power steering line (also replaced), but even with all the problems i have had with it i keep putting more and more money into it and still love it
