< src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" =text/> </> Hello. I'mbadly in need of some advice, any help would be appreciated since I'm definately not much of a mechanic. My daughter has a 99 Mercury Cougar V6 (85,000 mi). When I bought the car I had to have the fly wheel and starter replaced because the starter had apparently ground up the fly wheel. Well the problem isafter having recently paid to have anew starter and fly wheel installed, the caroccasionally makes that "grinding" noise again when she starts it. I know I'll have to cough up a ton of money again if I don't figure out what the real cause of the problem is. With new parts having been installed I shouldn't be having this problem again. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. < =text/> _uacct = "UA-939292-45"; urchinTracker(); </> |
Sounds like a few shims would solve your problem.

It goes in for a new starter (warrented) this week. I 'll talk to my mechanic about shimming it as well, I hadn't thought of that. Thanks. < src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" =text/> </> < =text/> _uacct = "UA-939292-45"; urchinTracker(); </> |
