I have a 02 Mercury Cougar 2.5L V6 and my service engine light is on. When I read the codes it comes back with the following:

P1401 Egr Evp
P1406 High Voltage

Does anyone know what these codes are referring to? I assume that the P1401 is pointing to the EGR Valve but the car runs perfectly, idle is smooth and no hesitation what-so-ever. If the EGR valve was stuck wouldn't the car run light crap??
Any advise/imput would be greatly appreciated.
