Hey guys im new here but i am not new to forums and i am a member on two of the sister sites that patrick has including mitsubishi forum where i am a moderator. Just getting this out there to prove my reliability of a seller. I didnt see a FS section so i figure id post this in here (moderator please move or inform me if this is the wrong place, thanks). So here is the details

Year: 1976

Model: Mercury Cougar

Engine: 351 cu.in. V8 (i believe its the cleveland)

Color: Light Blue

Mileage: 38,677 (original miles)
[/list] The car belongs to my grandfather. He inherited it from his sister that passed away 2 years ago. Before that she owned the car for its entire life span. So ONLY 2 owners. This car has been well maintained and the motor runs perfectly. The engine was completely rebuilt by my grandfather 2 years ago when he got it. They had every gasket replaced and did the usual tune up. The car was also then repainted the original color after that. So this car is in amazing condition. All that need to be done is the engine bay needs to be cleaned up a bit since its just been sitting under a car cover so there have been some pine needles, ect that found there way in there. And now some pics Attachment 479 Attachment 480 Attachment 481 Attachment 482 Attachment 483 Attachment 484 Attachment 485 Attachment 486 Attachment 487 Attachment 488 If you have any questions let me know. Nice car. A engine detail with new paint on the valve valve covers can really clean up this car. I would also paint the air cleaner new ford blue. Paint the radiator core support flat black. These can all be done with spray can paint and it will make the car look better and posibly sell faster. You will probably get a little more or at least the asking price. If the valve covers are too hard of a job, leave them and clean it all wil a power washer and make sure you cover the distributor and everything will be fine. NICE CAR |
thanks for the suggestions. Honestly i dont know why my grandfather didnt do that stuff when they had the motor out. But i do want to try and clean the engine bay a bit.
