My '96 Cougar heater is acting strange. The heat comes on very sporadically. My coolant temperature guage seems to be connected to the heater problem. The gauge fluctuates up and down, but all in the normal range. The heat seems to kick on somewhere in the median. The engine coolant level is fine. My check gauges has come on a few times in the last couple of days, but hasn't come on again since this morning. I have had a few blasts of pretty hot air a couple of times today.
