Any ford mechanics know if i change my computer in my 2005 mariner how much is cost to program it.pulled s[eaker off oem gauage cluster, put it back in and it ran but was popping through the air intake but still ran and drove but not the greatestcar ran fine for a few rides then died, bought another cluster and put a piece of tape over the cluster, i may have bent a pin putting the board back together because the mpg and check system led didnt light up, car ran for a few rides then diedbought another cluster and didnt mess with it just installed it as is gauge cluster works even though it says 100k and the truck has over 200k was told its probably the computer causing it not to start, it cranks over but doesnt starti pulled the oem cluster and pulled off the speaker becasue i was tired of the door chime, bad door ajar sensors are like $300 a piece, after i pulled the speaker is when all this started happeningwhats the lesat expensive way to fix this i see used computers on ebay, but not suer about the vin and anti device bsneed helpits a second vehicle to i have time but dont want to junk it, truck ran fine before i messed with iti see a place onlince called flgship that will sell me a computer with keys and a return poilce but i will loose $200 out of $412 if it doesnt fix itwhen i initally had the oem cluster in it and pulled the speaker when it ran it gave some error about network not reading im assuming computer board not talking cause when i piulled the speaker the sotter cxame out of the two holes hold it incodes are C1805 MISMATCHED PCM, IM GUESSING Because the miles are not the same and also get b2900 vin mismatch i assume casue of the cluster?sorry for the caps lock
