1997 merc grand marquis gs
 

when I bought this car it didn't have a key fob. my question is, can I buy an aftermarket fob and use it. this car has the door entry buttons but I have no code, nor can I find it in all the normal spots, it has electric locks and trunk but I'm not sure if it ever had a fob. I would appreciate any help. Thanks

They have a bunch of choices of key fobs and automatic door/trunk openers.
I got a Motorcraft (Grand Marquis) key fob from them and it works perfectly.
Look for your 5-digit key code -- it's on a white sticker with black numbers, located on the driver's side trunk hinge.
I changed my number from the original factory code number, just to be on the safe side.
