I purchased a 2000 Mercury Marquis LS with 68000 miles a few months ago, and at that time, I also changed the oil using 5w-30 regular oil.

I was wondering, what would you use the next time around on your Marquis,
the same 5w-30 regular, 10w-30 as it has higher mileage, or 5w-30 synthetic blend, or full synthetic.

I have read so much about the different oils, that I am now confused.

My car now has 72,611 miles, and will be due for an oil change soon so I am soliciting opinions on what to use.
