Default 2001 grand Marquis fuel pump

hey what's up all.. I'm needing a bit of help with a fuel pump issue. on a 2001 grand marquis.. I replaced the fuel pump already... but I'm getting less than 1 volt at the intertia switch.. and no power to the fuel pump. does this car have a relay. and fuse? and is there a way I can just bypass the inertia switch and run 12 volt to the fuel pump itself?

any help would be greatly apreciated

If you are getting the same reading on both ends of the switch, it is not the cause of your issue. The relays are in a box, on the driver's side top of inner fender near the master cylinder. The fuel pump relay is the middle one i believe. You can swap it with the a/c relay and see if it works.
