I'm having a problem on my 98 Sable with the headlights and dash panel lights flickering. I have recently replaced the alternator (it was totally shot),thinking that was the cause, but it's still doing it. Not a real big problem (yet) but it's kind of annoying when driving down the highway at night.


Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

 

do you have an aftermarket stereo or anything?

 

No, everything is OEM.


Someone else suggested checking the ground off the battery, so I hope to be doing that soon. Hope that's the fix.

 

CHECK HEADLAMP SWITCH TO BE SUR THE CONNECTOR AND WIRING IS NOT MELTING WAS A COMMON PROBLEM CAUSING LIGHTS TO FLICKER LET ME KNOW GOOD LUCK
