99 mercury cougar dies out
 

my 99 mercury cougar dies out and the gauges go up and down with out any accelerating and all the check lights go on. its hard to get started and when it does start , it dies out when i put it in gear. it also craps out when i rev it past 3000rpms. any help would be appreciated.
