Barn find with no spark
Hi guys! I need help. I bought a 1968 Mercury Montego MX out of a barn and have no idea when that last ran. I replaced the points, condenser, rotor cap, distributor cap, coil, spark plugs, and spark plug wires. I also pulled the carburetor and cleaned it it turns over fine but I’m getting no spark. Any help you can give me is appreciated

I'd start by making sure you had a good power wire running to the coil. It does not have to be a dedicated ignition power wire. A wire that is hot with the ignition on while cranking and hot in the run position is all that's needed. Since you mentioned replacing the points then your car should have a ballast resistor. Hook that 12v hot wire to the ballast resistor and the wire from the ballast resistor hooks to the positive side of the coil. See if you then have spark when you crank it. If you still have no spark, we now know the power wire is good so begin your elimination from that point out to the spark plugs.
