I have a 2007 Grand Marquis and the cup holders are terrible. They are flimsy and get in the way of the shifter.

I have been looking for an aftermarket holder for 2 cups but cannot find any that fit. It looks like one would fit on the console if it was not too wide and could be held by velcro.

Anyone here found one that works?

You are so lucky.

I own a '92 MGM, and yes, NO CUPHOLDERS! Not even an option.

So I went out, browsing around on what there is, and what would work.

What I currently have is a Wal-Mart console, which I even got in the right interior color, blue. It's bottom is shaped kind of round, so it attaches perfectly to the floor (remember, the drive shaft runs straight through). Works fine so far.

This weekend I had another idea: Like many Dodge's, they have cupholders mounted to the front of their armrests. So if you have them (I think every MGM comes with them), you might be able to build something and here we go.

I thought that might be a good solution. Heck, as a non-cupholder-owner, I pretty much go with everything. LOL

Greetings

You are so lucky!

Not only can you sue McDonald's for hot coffee spilled, you can sue Mercury too!

Gets you perfect cup holders built, with a fitting car around it.
