Out of the blue, my 96 Grand Marquis has a small red light that started flashing about every second when the car is turned off. The light is located on the driver's side dash board near the wind shield. I don't have an owners manual so I can't trouble shoot. What is this flashing light trying to tell me?

Ron There is a very small red light on the top of the dash (drivers side near windshield) that has started flashing when the motor is off. What is this light indicating?
