8pm


drove thru 1 ft of water notl ong at all, got thru, stalled.


pushed car to safe area.


tried to start, click click,


waited


turned key heard a spinning sound (starter??)


waited 1 hour


tried


car was trying to turn over, almost there,


i got too anzious, had key turning for over 30 seconds


then water flew out of the exhaust pipe, oair filter soaked,


now


no start


click


click


even with full battery


did i kill something???


car is in a lot in Newark NJ 34 miles away


got home 3:30am

you could of bent a push rod.


you need to see if you can turn the motor over. the best way is to remove all the spark plugs because this frees up the compression, then with a socket on the crand, see if it turns. it not it could meann the motor has something internal wrong. If so your insurance will cover it since it was an accident with the water.


I would call your insurance company. my buddy did the same thing and bent a push rod, the insurance company wrote it off and gave him a check for the amount the car was worth.
