I am looking to install an Apple iPod (MP3 player) in my 04 Mountaineer using the accessory jacks available for sattelite radio or the CD changer. I have been able to find cables online that will convert the CD changer connection to a pair of RCA jacks. Are the cables for the CD changes (or Sat radio) accessible without removing the Stereo headunit? If not, I'll remove the radio, but I can't find any accessible points to remove the face plate from the center dash console. How do I remove the face plate?

The cd player connection jack is on the back of the radio so you definatly will have to remove the radio.
