Default Keyless Entry code location 2006 GM

I purchased a 2006 Mercury Grand marquis LS about 4 months ago and have been trying to find the Keyless entry code. It is NOT on the unit in the Drivers door or anywhere else that I can find. It is nor on any doors or jams, on the fuse book under the hood or as near as I can tell under the dash. Where else can I look or is the only choice the dealer to read it out of the computer???

Default Key Code Location

Open the trunk lid.
Look at the top side of the trunk hinge on the driver's side.
The code should be on a white sticker with black numerals.
Once you have the factory code, you can add your own private 5-digit number.
The original number will still work, too.

Sorry, Bill --
Mine was on the trunk hinge. I don't know where else to look.
Maybe a call to a Ford/Lincoln dealer would help.
Good luck !!

I believe after 2005 they stopped printing them on the vehicle, your only hope is to take your driver side door panel off and it will be printed on lock control module i think its called.
Ton of youtube videos on this topic.
