I have a 2002 Mercury Sable and a week ago I started having problems. The interior dome light would not shut off for two days, even when the car wasturned off and locked.I made sure all switches inside the car were shut off. So I would have to disconnect my battery everytime I used the car in order to not drain it. The the problem seem to fix itself after 2 days. But again two days later it started again. Also, the light on my dashboard that turns on when a cardoor is open sometimes stays on even when all the doors are shut.When the light is on, my automatic door locks (locks all the doors when the car reaches 5mph) will not work. It seems as though something is going wrong with the electrical system or sensors. Any ideas?

lube all the door latches with wd40 and open and close each door approx 5 times and relube again the switches are stiking in the door latch this will free them good luck
