Strange 2005 Grand Marquis LS Engine noise

Just purchased a 2005 Mercury Grand Marquis LS from a dealership. It had 149.6k Miles when I purchased it. I drove it all the way home from Orlando without a single problem, and continued to drive it for a few more days before the check engine light came on. It was just the EGR valve, which I replaced.

I just recently changed the oil. I went with 5w-20 Motorcraft oil, and a motorcraft oil filter. All seemed great. That evening and the next day, it drove great.

2 new sounds have started since then. One is a rapid knocking or ticking.. it sounds like something that rotates broke in all honesty. I can barely hear it when idling, but when accelerating and just after accelerating, it’s a bit rowdier. it really has me worried.

the other sounds like a quiet belt squeal. It’s in the mornings when I first start my car. Usually by the time I get to work, it has gone away. my mechanic told me he didn’t hear it, so I should “wait for it to get worse then bring it back”

the first sound hadnt started when I had him look at it. Which I wish it had, because it really doesn’t sound good.

i took a video which I can try to upload if needed. Not so sure the sound comes through on the audio.

it sounds like its coming from the front end of the motor if that helps at all.

Even if you don’t have a potential disagnosis, steps on what I should do next would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.
