Temp Gauge
 

Hey Guys. In my 01 Sable 3.0 140K miles. Driving in the city temp gauge reads normal or just below normal, in the middle of the range. Now take it on the highway, the temp gauge actually drops down to the cold part. Back in the city, it comes back up.

Replaced thermostat with factory one and the water temp sender part # F7DZ-10884-AA. Thats the temp gauge sensor.

Any thoughts on this problem? Heat seems to come out of the vent ok, seems hot when in the city, on the highway the vent air is cooler.
