I have a 2001 Grand Marquis and I'm looking for a schismatic for the LCM. I have a rapid flasher problem and before I spend $200+ on a replacement I'd like to open it up and look for loose solder joints or bad components. The problem seems to not happen when the headlights are on. Before you ask, all the lights are working and i checked all the connections I could get to. Any help would be appreciated.

 

Are you talking about a "HYPER-FLASH" problem !??
If so, what kind of bulbs are you using !??
Switching from OEM bulbs to LEDs often causes hyper-flashing -- and resistors must be added to each bulb to prevent the hyper-flashing.
I got my Resistor Kits from Amazon.com -- a few minutes to install each resistor solved the problem immediately.

It still has regular bulbs in it. Before I switch to LEDs I need to get this problem fixed.
