Was there a model with dual exhaust for the '01 MGM's?

I had my car on the lift today to change the oil and noticed a lip on the rear bumper for a second pipe, then space from the second cat all the way back and even a pocket matching the size of the muffler...

An ancient thread I know........If you ordered the "Performance/Handling Package" you got the heavy duty shocks, sway bars and front springs from the CVPI. The rear springs were air/load leveling instead of the coils in the GS/LS without the package. Rated HP went to 235 from 220. My 01 has it and I was doubtful about the air springs at first but they make a huge difference in handling, especially when carrying passengers. The ride is a lot firmer but a lot more controlled. I just installed Monroe Magnum Severe Duty shocks and the old girl dances pretty well. You can always tell a CV or GM with the package because of these wheels. They are called "Lacy Spoke" and were only put on cars with the package.
