Default 03 Grand MArquis ABS light on

Anyone know of any idiocycrasis for the 03 GM abs system. Light came on about 3 weeks ago along with the anti-skid light. Replaced all 4 disk brake pads, tried reading errors with my OBDII reader with no rerrors on record. I also tried disconnecting the positive side of the battery for a while. Nothing is working. What else can I try?

Check the simple things like fuses and connections.. It could be anything from a pump problem, failed solenoid or sensor, or most likely a wheel speed sensor issue... Unfortunally you'll need a full fledged scanner to get the ABS codes out of the thing... Autozone won't be able to get you ABS codes either... You'll either need a buddy with a scanner, find a good indementent shop, or the dealer..

Without having a trouble code to work with it's kinda hard to say where to start looking beyone the simple things... Since disconnecting the battery makes no difference it must be a hard fault and not intermittant, or relaiant on a certain set of conditions which will make things easier to diagnose...
