I have a 03 MGM and my headlight will not come on sometimes. All other lights come on, but the headlights and I don''t hear the relay under the dash clik.

is this with the automatic control or the manual control or both?

If not with the manual control... does it work when you turn them on manually?

This is with both in auto and manual and they seen to also work when the weather is below 62 degrees and will activate two or three times and then will not work again.

sounds like it could be the circuit breaker in the fuse box under the hood. sounds like it will heat up and then fail open... cool off and work again. that should be the issue. replace the circuit breaker and that _should_ fix the problem. If it was just a problem with the automatic lights, then it would be a problem with the lighting control module... and that''s probably not cheap.

edit: I just dug through the owners manual and found that there''s a daytime running lamp circuit breaker and left and right low beam fuses. if you don''t have daytime running lamps, then it''s not a circuit breaker. It may be a loose/bad wire or a problem with the lighting control module. There doesn''t seem to be any fuse links or other fuses to mess with. Try pushing the fuses in to make sure they''re seated properly. If that doesn''t fix it, you may have to get a real mechanic to check it out.Edited by: slymer
