04 Headlamp diagnosis

04 CV/MGM headlamp failure is often times blamed on a faulty LCM relay. As a newbee to this forum, I need help from you avid, experienced owner’s. What items besides the fuses in the dash fuse panel that check OK, can I check to eliminate before concluding my LCM is at fault. I don’t have the device required to run the Ford tests for DTCS at the LCM. Many thanks for your advice.PLEASE help soon - can't drive car at night. ~Dick

You can have your LCM rebuilt bu vendors on eBay for about $100. If you can solder, I'll send you a link on how to replace the LCM relays yourself. Good Luck, Bill

billccm: I would appreciate you're sending that link on replacing the LCM relays myself. I hope it shows how to identify the headlamp relays, as I understand there are 4 relays in the LCM. If you wish, you can send link to my desktop: rlhate@ptd.net. Many Thanks, Dick
