< =text/>_popupControl();</> I have a 1989 MGM with the same engine 5.0. My engine run great and ithink you have an ignition problem. The wires that I was refering to on 2/13/09 are the ones that go to the distributor TFI-IV module. Colors are blue\Yellow\ redblack\red\yellowblue\green. Six wires make sure they are not bend\kink. Also, you might go to the library and take out the Ford/Chilton book 1989-1993. Go to chapter 2-7 and it gives you an idea of the ignition module and how to test it. You can also purchase a sparkplug Inline Ignition Spark Checker at Autozone for around 5 to 10 bucks. It is easy to connect. It goes between the sparkplug & sparkplug wires. Thiswill analized your ignition for dirty sparkplugs connection, bad cables or connections and more. This just came out of my head but went was the last time you change your fuel filter. Hope this helps and give us your result. Edited by: pdman

< =text/>_popupControl();</> According to the Ford/Chilton Book 1989-1993, driveline vibration or shudder is felt mainly on acceleration, coasting or under engine braking. This can be caused, among other things, by improper driveshaft installation or imbalance. In other words check the U-Joints in your driveshaft. The book will give you more details inchapter 7-9 in the drive train section. Hope this works Edited by: pdman

For the 93 code 24 says "Safing sensor output feed/return circuit open or low resistance in a primary crash sensor" I can get you a rundown of the diag procedure on that code if you would like.. Unfortunatley with Alldata I can only save it as a .xps file...
so basically, one of the bumper pads had some kind of electrical issue. it was during a very rainy week that this happened. I should inspect the wires to those sensors and make sure everything is free of cracks.
