It will fit right in.

No, it wont work. Besides that the impulse of standard indications (speedometer) are different, you don't have many of the indicators (sensors) for the information the digital dash supplies vs. the analog one.

You can replace/rerun the wiring harness for the speedometer, to get that working, but in my opinion: unless all of it is working, it's just not done right.

Now, according to my paperwork, from 5/94 on, the wiring harness is supposedly conform for both options, and the sensors are all identical.

But since it should be known how accurate these informations are, I guess it will come down to the point of swapping one and see if and what it does. Maybe we can find a picture of the plug housing on the back of the cluster. Comparing this with the plug in your car would help. I have the manual telling you what flow is on what connector, so we could try to match it.

ok thanks i have just got the digital dash from a 92 from the junkyard.

i paid 50 bucks so if it doesnt work then im not out a huge amount.

this weekend i am going to take the older one out and look at the plugs and such and see if i need anything. I am quite adimant on doing this so i will get the needed parts if need be.

thanks-

Give it a try, you never know.

The original manual ofmy '92 shows features and designs not used before the '95 facelift.

Heck, you might plug it in and it will work right away. Now wouldn't that be a kick? LOL

Like I said, you never know.

I just ran across an issue with my light switch. The paperwork (manuals etc.) was not helpful at all, cause they used the light switch from the '91 and earlier models.

Don't ask how long it took me to find that out. Afterwords, it took 2 seconds to get the know of.
