1993 Grand Marquis won't start
Well this is inconvenient. Went to move the GM so I could get my car out of the garage and it wouldn't start. Lights come on, dash lights come on, but doesn't turn over. No clicks or anything. It was fun earlier today.
What are some possible causes? Loose connection, relay or fuse? |
i would check the fuses under the hood ... have you tried starting in neutral? if it starts the neutral switch might have died
have you checked the ignition switch.
Ya there can be a loose connection or fuse problem.Do check the car and if the problem is not solved then do tell us.
Take the battery and have it load tested. May be faulty battery. Needs a lot of volts to crank.
the lights would go out if it sucked enough volts not to make a click though.
bad fuse, first place to look. my car blew a megafuse for the starter one day inexplicably. replaced it and it's never happened since. |
