Well I have had this car for year or more.We went on plenty of road trips with the car. Anyhow to get to my problem the car started skipping so my uncle and dad are mechanics but not used to the newer cars. lol Well they found out that the left2 top coil packs are not firing and switched them out still no fire! So if youknow whatmight be the problem we would appreciate! ThanksEdited by: discernment

Well, it's 11 years later, so I guess you either fixed it or junked it.
Next time, get a code scanner and properly diagnose the problem.
As for Ignition Coil problems with a '95 Merc -- don't jack around !!
Replace them BOTH with the OEM Motorcraf coils at the same time !!
'92-'95 Mercs have bad ignition wires from the git-go !!
Replace them with BOSCH Mag-Core ignition wires -- and handle your ignition wires CAREFULLY !!
